Horizontal or Vertical? Two Pictures of Sunset over the Horsetooth Reservoir

After two pictures from the South Platte River, here is another couple of shots of the very similar scene from my recent paddling on the Horsetooth Reservoir. This time both pictures were shot from a kayak - quite tippy Thunderbot-X. I am not sure if the settings of my Pentax Optio W10 were identical, but both pictures were shot with the zoom near the widest position, EV compensation set to -2, and white balance set to a shade.

Horizontal or vertical? Which image version do you prefer in this case?
