Atlantic Ocean at Fort Clinch, Florida

Fort Clinch State Park, Florida

Fort Clinch State Park: a southern jetty as seen from the fishing pier and shot with Pentax Optio W10. You can compare it with a satellite image from Google maps.

I spent a couple of days camping and photographing at Fort Clinch last March during my break in WaterTribe Ultimate Florida Challenge. It was my first close meeting with the Atlantic Ocean. I have crossed Atlantic between Europe and US several times by air, I sailed on North Sea 20 years ago, I paddled across Florida Bay during WaterTribe Challenges, but it was my first time on an Atlantic beach.
