Sunset over St Mary River from Fort Clinch State Park, Florida

Fort Clinch State Park, Florida

This is one of a few nice sunsets over St Mary River I photographed when camping at Fort Clinch State Park, Florida, during my break in WaterTribe Ultimate Florida Challenge. Each night I took my Canon EOS D10 with a tripod to a little platform behind River Campground to watch and shoot sunset. Each sunset was very different.

That spot served as a race stage point, but nobody arrived during my stay. Wizard, ManitouCruiser and Sharkchow were already paddling upstream of the St Mary River and then portaging 40 miles to the Suwannee. The remaining racers were spread between Sebastian Inlet and Fort Clinch. Before they arrived I launched my Sea Wind and paddled alone across Florida to Cedar Key.
