Watching Ducks in a Ditch Instead of Paddling - Foggy Morning in Colorado

duck on irrigation ditch

Ducks on one of irrigation ditches running through Fort Collins and northern Colorado. This picture was shot with my Pentax Optio W10 when walking with my dog on foggy morning. Weather is much warmer in northern Colorado, but I haven't paddled recently due to a bad cold. I could imagine that the South Platte River would look pretty cool with this fog, frost and snow ...

There is not much color in this picture, so I was also playing with its black and white version using channel mixer in Photoshop. Which version do you prefer?
