Springtime Paddling on the Boedecker Reservoir at Loveland

paddling Thunderbolt kayak

The Boedecker Reservoir near Loveland is one of my favorite springtime paddling spots. The reservoir is full this time of year providing a nice 4 mile paddle loop with great vistas of Rocky Mountains Front Range and Devils Backbone. No power boats with exception of occasional fisherman. A lot of water birds. And frogs are doing their singing in the ditch running nearby.

The picture above is shot as usual with the Pentax Optio W10 camera set in an interval mode and mounted with the sticky pod on a bow of my Thunderbolt-X kayak.

Check my last year posts for more springtime pictures featuring Sisson Nucleus kayak and my new audio recording comment system (on right) is still waiting for the first messages.
