Where Is the Red Color in Colorado Autumn?

There is not much of the red in Colorado fall colors. You need to look at low bushes rather than trees. There are three or four bushes of a wild currant on the shores of my local paddling lake in Arapaho Bend Natural Area near Fort Collins. I photograph them every year as soon as they turn red. At this time they still have black berries.
