3 Days on the North Platte River in Wyoming: from Treasure Island to Fort Steele

I spent the Memorial Day weekend together with Connie and our Newfoundland girl, Dax, in Saratoga Wyoming. Here is a dozen of pictures from my paddling on the North Platte River:
  • Day 1: A short training trip from Saratoga to Pick Bridge together with Canoe Colorado overnight trip group; then driving to the Eagle Nest and doing more upstream/downstream paddling there.
  • Day 2: Paddling from the Treasure Island boat ramp upstream for a mile or so, and then going down the river to Saratoga hot springs.
  • Day 3: 1st Annual Wyoming Outback Challenge - a race from Saratoga to Fort Stelle (I-80 boat ramp). See also the race report and pictures.
