A lot of paddling on my local waters in northern Colorado including Beaver Pond, Horsetoorh Reservoir and Boyd lake. Starting paddling season on the South Platte River with a close encounter of a young eagle. I was paddling Thunderbolt-X kayak and shooting with Pentax Optio W10. The spectacular sunset below was shot after paddling the Boyd Lake.
I started blogging about 4 years ago. My first blog, Wayfarer on paddling and photography, was just an addition to my static web site, Mountain Wayfarer.
After a couple of years I had to move my blogging to another server under my own domain, fit2paddle.com, and at the same time the original blog split into three: Paddling with a Camera, Fitness Paddling, and Virtual Racing. It was a quite big migration.
Well, it’s time for another big move …
September 2007. Just local paddling in northern Colorado with some nice sunsets, several posts on cameras and photo gear, finally, a trip to Portugal and Poland.
I mentioned upgrading my DSLR camera to Canon EOS 40D. I bought it in November 2007. Less than a year later, a new model, Canon EOS 50D is coming.
